Delivering an authoritative and characteristic sound inspired by the legendary Neve 1073, the Heritage Audio DTT-73 (Dual Tabletop 73) two-channel preamplifier combines classic Class A transformer-based circuitry and premium components in a versatile desktop chassis. With 80dB of gain on tap, the DTT-73 microphone preamps are perfect for driving your low-output ribbon microphones. Line knobs decrease gain by 30dB, ideal for sending 1073-driven line-level signals to service engineers. The DTT-73 also features ultra-high impedance JFET direct inputs with throughput DI connectors for simultaneous use of instrument amplifiers. The inclusion of 20dB pads ensures clean signals without fear of overload.

Built to original specifications for a true vintage recreation

In fact, the only technical difference between the Heritage Audio DTT-73 and an original Neve 80 Series console module is the form factor. Inside, you will find only the highest quality original components — transformers, switches, push buttons and even classic Marconi buttons. So don't think of the DTT-73 as another vintage emulation or imitation. It's the real deal.

Top-notch performance from Class A preamplifier circuit

The DTT-73 packs 80dB of gain into its Class A mic preamp, perfect for ribbon mics and low-output dynamics. The design is also single-ended, powered by 2N3055 and offers high headroom. As a result, the sound is full, punchy, and incredibly vibrant when you increase signal levels. The Heritage Audio DTT-73 delivers classic sound. And made in classic RAF blue-grey steel cladding with wooden cheeks, it has the look to match.
