Bring out the best in your microphones
The Heritage Audio 73JR II 500 Series microphone preamp brings a heavy dose of vintage vibes right to your rack. Based on the iconic 1073, it amplifies any microphone or instrument clearly and vibrantly. Plus, because there are separate input and output gain controls, you can control the 73JR II's input for a rich, saturated sound, just like you would on an old console. Throw in a whopping 80dB of gain and you have a preamp ready to bring out the best in any microphone, whether condenser, dynamic or ribbon. Additionally, the 73JR II updates the original 73JR design with a variable high-pass filter, offering more control to cut out unwanted low-frequency information during tracking,
Add rich transformer saturation to any source

The DI circuit is in front of the microphone input transformer, perfect for adding some hair to the bass DI signals in the path.
