IK Multimedia AmpliTube SVX
Legendary bass tones now in the AmpliTube Custom Shop
The Rolling Stones '69 tour. Van Halen advanced AC/DC to the Dave Matthews Band. Motown sounds and that fabulous "round" bass tone. The gear behind the AmpliTube SVX defined — and continues to define — the sound of the electric bass.
So precise that it even turns off
Funny story... during the first phase of testing with the original engineers, one particular software model was being driven so hard that it "shut down". It completely stopped working. But the chief engineer approved the model on the spot.
You see, there was a small design flaw in the actual amplifier that would cause a power outage if the amplifier was driven too hard for too long. The software model was so accurate that it even replicated this design flaw!
