During the 1950s and 1960s, LANG gained a reputation for producing quality professional audio equipment and parts at affordable prices (much like what Heritage Audio is today). The company's most popular offering was arguably the PEQ-2 Program Equalizer, which still has many devotees even now. Unfortunately, LANG Electronics produced very few PEQ-2s, and the ones that still work are stubbornly protected by their owners. These days, you're unlikely to find an original PEQ-2; Even if you do, expect the seller to ask for an obscene amount. But with the reissue of the Heritage Audio LANG PEQ-2, that no longer matters.
