Slate VCC Console emulation
VIRTUAL CONSOLE COLLECTION | Allows your DAW to take on the personality of a real analog mixing desk, improving imaging and depth and making instruments sit better across the frequency spectrum.
There's a reason why many chart-topping hits continue to be mixed on analog consoles – just like tape machines, mainstream large-format analog consoles have a sound and vibe that was impossible to achieve in the computer recording world... until now .
The Virtual Console Collection allows your DAW to take on the personality of a real analog mixing desk, improving imaging and depth and making instruments sit better across the frequency spectrum. Mixing becomes easier and more musical, and you can even press the DAW faders to find each mixer's “sweet spot.”
AUTHENTICITY IN WIDE FORMATS
The behavior of an analog console is immensely complex, because the individual channels contribute different things sonically than the busses combined, and the number of individual channels in use is important to the overall sound of the console.
To accurately emulate all this complexity, the Virtual Console Collection consists of two separate plug-ins – Virtual Channel and Virtual Mixbuss – allowing the user to choose between one of the console's six analog emulations. The Virtual Channel is applied to individual mix channels in your DAW, and the Virtual Mixbuss must be placed on the first insert of the main fader.
Choose the Best Console for Your Mix
The Virtual Console Collection contains emulations of six classic inline recording consoles, including the most sought-after models from Britain and the USA. These emulations are sonically indistinguishable from the original tables they model, so your mixes come together faster, sound smoother and more exciting, and require less work than ever before.
EASIER AUDIT
To make using the Virtual Console Collection easier, up to eight separate control groups can be created in your mixing session, allowing you to manipulate multiple channels from any module assigned to the same group. It's easy to listen to different console emulations on multiple tracks to select the right one for your mix, plus it can pass all group members to A/B as well.
