This module is based on what is considered the "golden reference", the absolute standard in equalizers for mastering. This piece of hardware was the brainchild of two of the most ingenious minds in music recording technology, true pioneers (whose ideas were fundamental to many other projects), who joined forces to create what was the first parametric equalizer ever invented. The design quickly became the basis for most of the following parametric equalizers from manufacturers around the world.
In addition to fully parametric and fully independent bands with almost no interaction (something that was not available until the invention of this circuit topology), its success has derived from its high level of quality, based on high-performance custom operational amplifiers. and in a completely transformerless signal path, which provided transparent and pure audio quality: this level of sonic excellence, superior transient response, almost unmeasurable non-linearities
