Get along like a master with Master Match
T-RackS 5's Master Match module is a new type of plug-in that automatically matches the sound of your songs using up to 3 different source songs as references.
Master Match calculates the spectral balance and perceived loudness of reference songs, analyzes them using sophisticated algorithms, and then creates an exact match of the source material, providing a high-quality EQ curve and volume adjustment. This can be achieved by using Master Match as a stand-alone processor or at the end of a pre-existing processing chain.
Thanks to this powerful new module, you can create great-sounding mixes or masters in seconds that sound as good as your favorite tracks in every detail, without the need for any previous audio engineering experience or specific skills.
Additionally, Master Match can offer its magic as a full automatic processor or alternatively it can be used as your personal audio engineering assistant, as you can look at the suggestions it gives you, and then you have the freedom to apply them. by yourself using whichever T-RackS 5 tools you prefer. The Dyna-Mu – gluing your mix together
The new T-RackS 5 Dyna-Mu vari-mu compressor/limiter is based on a coveted and iconic American hardware classic prized for its subtle yet instantly recognizable sonic personality. Thanks to its transformers and heart-forged valves, it can deliver audible magic that makes a mix bloom, beautifully gluing all the parts together.
The Dyna-Mu is an exceptional piece of equipment that will work wonders on complete mixes as well as individual sources too. Use it on drums to make them full or to bring out the natural ambiance of the room using parallel compression; try using it on vocals to make them cut through the mix or on electric bass to give it solid presence. Push it to the limits or simply use it to add finesse to the music. Either way, don't be surprised when you start using it all the time.
Not all plugins are created equal
The new T-RackS EQual digital analyzer is an ultra-clear high-end 10-band parametric equalizer with extremely transparent sound, a resizable full-screen interface for ultra-precise editing, and a wide variety of filter shapes that replicate typical EQ curves classic analogs from Neve, SSL, API and other legendary machines.
This “hybrid monster” gives you the best of both worlds: digital precision and analog personality on demand. Audiophile-grade audio engine
We've made the T-RackS 5 more sonically powerful than ever. Projects now support audio up to 192 kHz by 32-bit floating point, so you can master for distribution and high-definition music platforms without having to leave your interface.
Additionally, we have added 4 dithering options for you to choose from, which means you can optimize noise dithering by reducing the bit-depth of your songs to match the current content of a song.
On top of this, T-RackS' internal resampling engine has also been enhanced to deliver nothing less than best-in-class performance, including DDM (Digital Delivery Mastering) at the output of the final limiting stage, offering an additional layer of protection. against intersample peaks and overshoots that could be generated by MP3 encoding, AAC or similar compression and decompression processes.
The new precision LUFS loudness meter, compliant with all leading professional reference standards, gives you valuable information about the short or medium loudness built into the material you are working on, so you know immediately you are producing a master with perfect loudness for music services or broadcasting.
Peak, RMS, and Dynamic Range meters give you useful information about the crest factor and dynamic response of your mixes. This way you can decide whether you want to go down a path of greater compression or more dynamics in your sound while retaining the emotional impact of your songs.
The spectrum meters, real-time analyzer, phase and correlation will also help you visually check any frequency imbalances and phase problems that you may need to correct before finalizing your masters, whether for physical or digital distribution.
M/S meters will also help you gain insight into the relationship between a track's mono and stereo content in terms of “whole energy,” so you can choose between a more open approach or a more in-your-face sound.
Additionally, the T-RackS 5's new metering section can be used as a separate floating window, like a secondary screen, allowing you to keep an eye on levels while focusing on sound processing.
