T-RackS Multi-band Series

Controlling the entire frequency spectrum is no easy task. The T-Racks Multiband series groups four dynamic processors, each capable of dividing the audio program into user-defined frequency bands and processing them precisely. Multiband processors are particularly useful in mastering applications where you want to adjust a less-than-perfectly mixed track in selected areas of frequency and timing, but leave the rest of the spectrum untouched.

Quad Comp

As suggested by its name, the Quad Comp is a multiband processor that incorporates up to four full Opto-type compressors, each operating in a separate, user-defined frequency band. The ability to compress each band separately allows you to tame unwanted peaks in a selected part of the audio spectrum, only if and when a defined threshold is exceeded.

Quad Lim

Quad Lim is the limiting version of Quad Comp, which, according to the limiting principle, has a fixed ratio of infinity to 1. Time constants and makeup gain are user-defined for greater control. As with the Quad Comp and other Multi Series processors, you can adjust the slope of the filter that divides the frequency ranges, so dynamic control is wider or sharper, depending on your needs.

Quad Image

Combining the M/S (Mid Side) matrix processing concept of the stereo field with multiband architecture, Quad imaging effectively allows control over the stereo width of each frequency band. Don't be fooled by its simple control set - this is a powerful processor. By judiciously adjusting the width of each band, you can not only correct technical problems in a mix, but also get creative.

De-Esser

De-essing is also known as "frequency-dependent compression," but whatever you call it, the idea is to control excessive sibilance (exaggerated ''s'' sounds), which can be particularly problematic on vocal tracks. up to three frequency bands, de-Esser allows you to process certain frequency areas more than others. The dedicated control set also allows you to precisely adapt the operating mode, and listen to the de-essing action or part of the audio spectrum. of the processor is working on.

Gorgeous tone, in a Daw or on its own

You can open T-RackS modules as single plug-ins within your DAW or under an integrated plug-in shell that can host up to 12 modules at a time across 8 plug-in slots and create complex signal chains.
