But MODO BASS is not a virtual instrument by definition, it is a completely new technology that redefines the realism of a computer-based instrument. BASS MODE is the first technology of its kind that models the entire bass playing process. Each component that contributes to the unique tonal properties of a bassist playing an instrument has been modeled, and the effects of each component on the others – the interactions between each tonal variable – have been recreated to give you a dynamic, lively sound. constantly changing performance. The acoustic behavior of each string is also determined by its physical parameters modeling the musician's action as a non-linear physical interaction with certain areas on the surface of the string and the interaction of the string with the guitar neck, body and pickups of the instrument. Then, using IK's cutting-edge analog modeling expertise, the electric bass amplifier and effects rig are added to the sound chain.
All of this gives MODO BASS the ability to create sound in real time based on the construction and components of the bass combined with the player's technique, finesse and the ever-changing dynamic interactions between the two.
