The Adam Audio Sub15 -15" 1000W Subwoofer is designed for studio and home theater mixing applications. The unit utilizes a 1000W PWM amplifier, a 100mm voice coil, and a set of two magnets to drive a single woofer of 15" rigid aluminum membrane from 20 to 150 Hz with a maximum SPL of 112 dB measured in one meter. The cabinet features a downward-firing bass port. For controls, the subwoofer includes a variable volume control from -60 to +6 dB and an adjustable low-pass crossover frequency control from 50 to 150 Hz.
For inputs, the sub has balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors. For outputs, the unit has a balanced XLR sub output for connecting to a second sub, as well as balanced stereo XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs for connecting to a set of satellite speakers. An 85Hz high-pass filter switch can be activated to integrate the sub with the satellite speakers. For surround sound integration, the subwoofer includes a 0° or 180° reverse phase switch.
