The Orion32+ Antelope | Gen 4 is a Thunderbolt/USB audio interface that offers 32 channels of AD/DA conversion and upgraded performance for audio engineers in recording studios and live stage applications. With a redesigned appearance, expanded dynamic range and lower THD+N values, the Orion32+ | Generation 4 is designed to visually and aurally enhance your setup. It supports 128 channels of 24-bit/192 kHz high-resolution audio via Thunderbolt 3 or 32 channels via USB. In addition to 32 channels of analog I/O via DB25 connectors, this interface features powerful digital I/O, including MADI, ADAT, and fiber-optic S/PDIF. Dedicated 1/4" monitor outputs are ideal for connecting a pair of active monitors or a monitor controller.

The Orion32+ | The Gen 4 also functions as a master clock, providing the same clarity and precision as the Antelope, along with 64-bit AFC (Acoustical Focused Clocking) technology to handle jitter. Two wordclock outputs, one wordclock input, and a 10 MHz atomic clock input allow for proper synchronization with a variety of digital equipment.

Configure the interface through the display and buttons on the front panel; A powerful preset system provides easy store/retrieve operations. Alternatively, use the macOS and Windows-compatible desktop app for comprehensive access to routing, mixing, effects chaining, and more. The I/O is DC coupled, allowing it to be used with modular synthesizers.

128 audio channels via Thunderbolt 3 and MADI
Orion 32+ Gen4 can transmit twice as many channels via Thunderbolt as its predecessor and has twice as much MADI connectivity, now with 128 channels for both. These significant upgrades allow up to four units to be daisy-chained for 128 AD/DA channels via a single computer connection. This makes the unit the best choice for large recordings, live sound applications, complex post-production setups and broadcast installations. It's a preferred companion for large mixing consoles, hardware effects processing chains, analog summation boxes, reel-to-reel setups, hardware synthesizers, and just about anything else you can throw at it.

The integrated platform supports more than 23 audio formats, from stereo to Dolby Atmos 9.1.6, and offers accurate speaker and room calibration tools. The system's intuitive monitoring controls and quick preset recall functionality are designed to increase productivity. It is available as an optional upgrade for the Orion 32+ Gen4. As a physical extension of the system, the compatible Antelope MRC hardware controller provides simplified, tactile controls that are essential for easy, yet advanced monitoring.
