The equalization section has three semi-parametric bands and a variable high-pass filter that can be positioned before the equalizer or in front of the sidechain. Threshold and ratio controls are provided to adjust the compressor, which also offers single-knob parallel compression, automatic gain compensation, and a dedicated meter for gain reduction. Saturation is also adjustable, from subtle gain to warm grain, via the drive control.
Equalization
The Channel Strip's equalizer is based on a 1970s hardware equalizer that is simple but powerful, allowing you to adjust the sound with ease. Turn on the high-pass filter before the compressor sidechain for aggressive compression without pumping.
Compressor
With parameters tuned by legendary mixer Bob Clearmountain, the compressor offers foolproof gain reduction with just the essential controls. Parallel compression is easy using the included Mix button.
Saturation
Add the finishing touch to your sound with varying levels of saturation, from a subtle, exciting volume boost to full, impactful saturation.
