Mutator
MUTATOR provides a combination of sound design tools to create unusual, strange and otherworldly voices. Featuring high-quality pitch shifting, throat shaping, ring modulator-based muting, and a tempo-synchronized alienation function, the MUTATOR EVO is the perfect tool for unique special vocal effects and post-production sound design.

MUTATOR's speech processing tools are divided into three functional sections. The Voice Design section allows you to use our unique throat shaping and pitch shifting technologies to create the basic characteristics of your voice.

The Mutate section lets you morph and alter that voice into a variety of strange creatures, with a selection of 24 different "mutation" varieties created through pitch-tracking touch modulation.

Finally, the Alienize section gives your vocal track the quality of an alien language by dividing it into small segments and playing each segment in reverse. You can create your own language by varying the length of speech segments or synchronizing them to the tempo of your track.

Voice Design
This section allows you to use Antares THROAT Evo Vocal Designer's unique vocal modeling technologies to create the basic vocal characteristics of your voice.

Mutate
Once you've created your basic vocal characteristic with the Voice Design controls, the Mutate section lets you transform that voice into a variety of, shall we put it, alternate entities (i.e., strange creatures), allowing you to select from 24 different varieties of “mutation”? ”Created through pitch tracking ring modulation.

Alienize
Finally, the Alienize section allows you to give your speech the quality of a foreign language by dividing it into small segments and playing each segment in reverse. You can create your own language by varying the length of speech segments or synchronizing them to the tempo of your track.
